We, Lumria, are a slow fashion brand.
We value timelessness, high quality and versatility. Great clothes never go out of style and our core products work from season to season for years.
We use natural fibers as much as possible and we source them as ethically as we possibly can. Most of our materials come from Europe.
We aim for minimal waste and for that reason there might be some additional seams and such in our ruffles for example. Not a flaw, just character of the product.
We also try to find ways to use our scrap pieces that come from cutting.
Sometimes some trims and such may differ from the product photos so we can use up existing stock.
Sustainability is the main reason why most of our products are made to order. Unfortunately, we are not fortune tellers, so we don’t know what sizes or products sell so we make things when they are ordered. This also allows us to be as size inclusive as possible and offer options to customize your garments.
If some materials seem to not be selling, it’s way easier to recycle as a raw material than a finished product.
It’s only two us running the company and we have limited resources to produce large quantities of product.
All our clothing and accessories are made by us in our little sewing studio in Turku, Finland.
